Default Returning Char Heroes Question

Ok, so I just got back into GW after a good while. Last time I played heroes didn't exist so as you can imagine I'm having a field day messing with em. Atm I've unlocked 3 hero slots and wanted to know if it is possible/how to unlock more. Most of the major mission outposts that I need are devoid of life and the henchmen (while far improved over what they were when I last played) still kinda suck. =D After failing to either find another real human being or being able to convince my henchmen not to suck, I decided to look this up.

I looked online and couldn't see anything about quests to open up the remaining slots so I got curious if it was even possible. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Which heroes do you have? Which campaigns?

For Nightfall, just play thru the story and you'll get more heroes. One for Cantha and one for Prophecies open up before / about the time you go to the mainland.

Just going to Eye of the North gives you three more, and more follow. Note that you can only use 3 at a time anyway, so if you're not grouping then henchies are still a reality.

You cannot get more hero slots. You can always only ever have 3 at a time. You can collect all the heroes in the game however.

As was said above you can only have 3 heros in your party at any given time

you will have to use Hench if you cannot fill the party requirement for that area.

A little thing that makes all the difference is the heros skillbar..you can eqip any of the skills you have unlocked for there profession

But its best to have a look here for a little insight

http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Hero

If you have all campaigns plus the expansion you will recieve a total of 26 heros ( yea crazy I know) and theres talk about another being introduced later

You can get information on using heroes and what skills they can't handle in this thread in Campfire section Heroes & AI sub forum.

While ingame:

1) F10
2) type "hero"
3) hit "Enter"
4) read and scroll
5) think about how much easier that was than creating a thread. :-P
